The MIX Re-Grand Opening!

To kick things off this summer, we called upon the freshest hip hop artists in the christian scene, otherwise known as The Urban Missionary Tour. They opened up at 8 with a free concert while The Mix stayed open for people to hang out and relax. During the day we hosted a Skate 3 Comp with first prize taking away a brand new set of REDS bearings. Congratulations Noah.

The MIX is open everyday but Sunday. It's a safe haven for all youth and adult alike. In addition to the game room we also have an awesome skate park. Stop by sometime.

For The Love of Skateboarding 3: Young Guns

Last Saturday a select group of skaters went on our 3rd For The Love of Skateboarding Tour. We stopped at Corrales first, but we ended up being the only people there. After a fun session with the park all to ourselves we headed of to La Cueva for the Young Guns competition. Here our skaters handed out free hot dogs and SkateChurch flyers. Our very own Lucas Roche placed 2nd in the Intermediate bracket and Tim Torres placed 3rd in the Advanced bracket. Pictures below.
